- AAshleyLas Vegas •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 13, 2024This was one of the best meals of my entire life. I understand that us quite the statement but I mean it. I was in Austin for work and a few days play too. I first ate here with my husband. We ordered the prime ribeye, brisket, and mashed potato side. This ribeye was the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. The flavor was beyond. So delicious. The brisket was so tender, juicy, and flavorful l. This topped the brisket at Terry Blacks. The mashed potatoes were so creamy and perfect. We sat on the patio and the smoker filled the air. It was magnificent. Because our experience was exceptional, I brought five co-workers back a few days later. The praises were through the roof. This time I ordered myself the prime ribeye, it is huge but I had to have it again! We shared the burnt ends queso. We would buy it by the gallon if we could. It was some of the best queso we had ever had. The mac and cheese is also worth ordering. Delicious! This time we were seated downstairs but you can still enjoy the live band being played upstairs. Coincidentally, I had the same server both times and she was great. Friendly and attentive. I'd like to give Yelp the honors for introducing us to Lamberts but it didn't even show up. All praises go to Dax Shepherd and his Armchair Expert podcast discussing how Matthew McConaughey took him to Lamberts and it was the best ribeye experience he had in his life. So thank you McConaughey and Dax for the recommendation. It changed my life and I will need to get back to Austin just for Lamberts!More infoLamberts Downtown BarbecuePrice: Expensive• Barbecue• Downtown•4.7
- LLisavipMinneapolis - St. Paul •6 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 12, 2024Steiner Ranch Steakhouse is our go to place when we travel to Austin. This most recent visit was for a quiet evening dinner with my husband after our daughter was married. The outside patio is amazing with the spectacular view of Lake Travis. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious as always. We shared how we were celebrating our daughter’s wedding and how she was engaged at their restaurant. To our surprise, they provided us with a delicious, complementary dessert. Love their hospitality! We will definitely be back!More infoSteiner Ranch SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Northwest•4.7

The outside setting is beautiful the cocktails are delicious and we really enjoyed the charcuterie board. We also had octopus that was really good, salmon, shrimp scampi, and the duck. I thought everything was a little too expensive but that’s just me. A $25 glass of wine that was yummy but was still $25.More infoLaurelPrice: Expensive• Italian• West Austin / Westlake•3.8
