Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Goose Island

Everything was wonderful! I noted food allergies in my reservation, and the waiter was aware when we arrived. He made careful suggestions for those diners and worked with the kitchen to ensure their food was safe. Overall a fantastic dinner.

This was my second time eating at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food was exquisite. We had the caesar salad and I love real anchovies on this. It was perfectly seasoned and put together. I had the salmon with lentils which was the fish special and the salmon was just buttery. The lentils were al dente and just perfect with a mustard sauce. My husband had the steak and frites which was perfectly cooked. For dessert, we shared the profiteroles. The sauce on top was just divine! We already made a repeat reservation for Valentine's Day which is months away, but we want to come back.

Excellent food and service. Very friendly staff. The menu wasn't overwhelming, so it was easy to order from. The quality of the food was absolutely fantastic. The Shrimp Aguachile was top notch, as was the Pork Shank Pibil. The tortillas were freshly hand made. Overall, great food. The restaurant should really be playing Latin music instead of whatever music they had on. It would be a nice touch to add to the authenticity. Highly recommend it here!

My experience at NoMi was exceptional! From the very pleasant hostess to my extremely kind and attentive waiter. The view is spectacular and my holiday meal was scrumptious! I dined alone and never felt hurried or rushed. I had the sea bass for my entree and it was delicious! My only suggestion would be considering a spirit free pairing. They offer a wine pairing to enhance your meal but as someone who does not drink alcohol, this is something I’d enjoy and appreciate.
