Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Nicholasville

The service and food were excellent, as always. Honeywood is one of our favorite places for a meal out.

We enjoyed a really enjoyable evening at the Lockbox last night. Very comfortable seating in a peaceful, sophisticated environment. Wait staff was helpful and available as needed. I loved the variety and inventiveness of the menu…there’s something for everyone on the menu.

We had a great meal. Started with the calamari, big juicy chunks but a bit spicy its good but our crew prefers a more traditional recipe. The wedge salad was great and was able to be split. The main course servings sizes were large, my daughter and I split the steak and frites, my mom got 2 huge pieces of fish with her catfish entree that she had at least 1 more meal. Finished with the bread pudding, hands down the best ever- the brown butter bourbon sauce~yum! On top of the excellent food our server was top notch. It was a lovely experience and puts Palmers as a top restaurant in LEX.

The food was wonderful, love the cozy little restaurant. Service was good - my sister and I had a wonderful time. Plus the restrooms were very clean.

Had a lovely waitress named Deb who was very attentive, friendly & funny. Also had her for breakfast!! Awesome. Food was absolutely amazing. We had extra plates for sharing with other family members. Her suggestions were right on target. Will definitely come back here!! Don’t miss!!
