- BBonnieVIPNew York City •9 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a 6PM reservation and were initially one of the few tables, however, the restaurant did fill up while we were there. Nice atmosphere. Food is good, although tuna entree portion was small and Bronzino dish has a lot of food. We ordered our meal probably around 6:30 and got salad appetizers fairly quickly. Dinner did not arrive until 7:45 (!) and I noticed other tables were getting dessert and they arrived after us!! We were enjoying ourselves so didn’t complain, but obviously there was a glitch somewhere. I have to add that it is VERY expensive, and they automatically add a”non cash” service charge to the bill (I didn’t calculate the percentage). I find that deplorable, given their pricing. And one could miss it if they don’t closely review the book and end up tipping on that too. Overall, good food, small intimate restaurant. Very nice server (Erica). Will I go back? Probably not.More infoBlackSaltPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Palisades Northwest•4.8

We both had the chicken stew “pollo guisado con arroz” from the “abuelo” (Jose’s grandparents recipes) and enjoyed it immensely the service was prompt.More infoSpanish Diner - BethesdaPrice: Moderate• Spanish• Bethesda•4.2
- RRebeccaVIPWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis last meal was quite possibly the best I have experienced at Xiquet yet. Our table loved the perfectly cooked partridge and amazing sauce on the sea bass. The festive decorations, kind staff and Spanish kings cake for dessert made for a cozy holiday evening. We are already looking forward to more celebrations at Xiquet next year.More infoXiquet by Danny LledóPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Georgetown•4.5

- BBarbaraWashington, D.C. Area •8 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 5, 2024I love the selection of dishes at True Food. I like to eat vegetarian, which isn’t so easy at most restaurants. It is at True Food. I got the Ancient Grains bowl and added tofu. There were other protein options available. My friend and I shared the charred cauliflower appetizer. Everything was delicious. Service was outstanding. It is a bit noisy—high ceilings and noisy fans going, but our overall experience was very positive.More infoTrue Food Kitchen - BethesdaPrice: Moderate• American• Bethesda•4.5
