- AaimeeNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI was here about 15 years ago when my family stumbled upon it by accident on Thanksgiving Day. With 2 teenage daughters active in sports, we found Thanksgiving the best time to get away for family time but hadn't planned where we would eat. We were made to feel quite welcome even without a reservation at that time, the restaurant was new and the area up and coming. To come back 15 years later and see the progress and still the attention to detail is glorious. Be sure to make a reservation as you don't want to miss out! My family was dazzled by the use of food, color, tastes and combinations to this day they remember. The ambiance created by the decorating, the staff start to finish and of course the meal that is topic of conversation years to come. - CCoryVIPWisconsin •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoOne of the very best restaurants on the island. Great food. Creative drinks. Great service. Lively vibe inside and in the surrounding neighborhood outside it's doors. I have been many many times and I NEVER have had a bad experience. Can be hard to get into for dinner (you must have a reservation). Lunch is pretty open. Habe the pork shank. Sea bass also is perfevt. The place is just outstanding in every way.More infoSantaellaPrice: Expensive• Puerto Rican• San Juan•4.8
- AAlexandraSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had a wonderful experience at 1919. My partner and I are celebrating a baby moon and the staff was so amazing offering mocktails and dishes I could eat with the pregnancy food restrictions. From the moment we walked in the host was incredibly sweet and gave us a run down of what the experience would be. The gentleman who took our drink order was incredible gave us recommendations along with he paired a really amazing white burgandy with my partners halibut. William our server was incredible had full knowledge of the menu and offered all of his personal favorites and recommendations, which we chose from and none of them disappointed. Was an amazing experience the food and service 10/10 and the ambience of the restaurant and hotel is stunning. We would highly recommend 1919.More info1919 Restaurant at The Condado VanderbiltPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• San Juan•4.6
- SShahGreater Boston •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoFantastic experience overall. The food was excellent. The linguini with frutti di mare was fresh, albeit a little short on scallops/clams and heavy on the shrimp. The pizza was proper brick oven with the perfect crust. Deserts (we had the crème brûlée, Apple pie and affogato) were all very good. Great attention to detail and service. Would go back.More infoSerafina - La ConchaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Condado•4.3
- GGordonCaribbean •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 20, 2024I’ve tried the rest, and this is by far the best and only authentic sushi and sashimi available anywhere in San Juan. You can taste the freshness in every bite. Sushi moriawase had Japanese conger eel, snow crab, scallops from Hokkaido, king salmon, Japanese sea bass, bluefin tuna, and more. The chef was very generous with bonuses as well. The service was exceptional.More infoToyosu Omakase & Sushi BarPrice: Very Expensive• Sushi• San Juan•4.5
