- JJohnVIPOrlando / Central Florida East •28 reviews5.0Dined 5 days ago**Five Stars Are Not Enough!** 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Our anniversary dinner at Vick's on the River in Savannah was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the warm ambiance, excellent service, and attention to detail made the evening unforgettable. My wife began with the French onion soup, which she adored, and savored the short rib for her main dish—perfectly tender and full of flavor. I opted for another bowl of soup and a Caesar salad, both of which were fantastic. The salad, in particular, was one of the best I’ve ever had. To make our anniversary extra special, the staff surprised us with a decadent flourless chocolate cake drizzled with raspberry sauce. It was the perfect celebratory touch! While crème brûlée was available that night, we were too full to order it after the indulgent cake, though it stayed on our minds. Parking that evening was a bit of a challenge, but even that couldn’t detract from the perfection of our night. The next evening, we couldn’t resist returning to try the crème brûlée! Even without a reservation, the staff immediately recognized us and graciously seated us in the bar area, just steps away from the live music that created such a timeless and relaxing atmosphere. This time, we avoided parking issues by taking an Uber—highly recommend this approach! The crème brûlée exceeded our expectations, making the second evening as memorable as the first. I savored a double Willet on the rocks, while my wife enjoyed another glass of the same excellent Cabernet from the night before. Vick's on the River delivered not one but two perfect evenings for our anniversary weekend. The food was impeccable, the staff went above and beyond, and the atmosphere was simply unmatched. If you’re in Savannah, don’t miss this incredible dining experience. It’s a must-visit gem that we’ll be recommending to everyone we know!More infoVic's on the RiverPrice: Expensive• Southern• Historic District - North•4.7
- MMichelleGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 26, 2024Great spot for a small bite , nice view, and a cocktail or two. Staff was very accommodating as it was a windy and chilly night and we asked to be moved twice. Ended up sitting on a quaint sectional with a heater and red Christmas blankets which made it comfortable. Had the mulled wine which was great. The food was ok. Found it to be expensive for the small amount served. The tuna appetizer specifically was quite small. But really you go here for the ambience so I can’t complain too much.More infoMyrtle & Rose Rooftop Bar at Plant Riverside DistrictPrice: Moderate• Cocktail Bar• Historic District - North•4.3
