Best Romantic Restaurants in Edgemont

Thanksgiving dinner in a restaurant can be a disappointment. I've always made it at home but this time we decided to try Teca for our holiday dinner. We're glad we did. The place was busy when we arrived for our 6:00 reservation for four, looked full. Our server, Thomas, was busy, too, but very personable, pleasant, and attentive. The food was very good, better than expected on a night like this. Bravo Teca, good job.

I read about this new place in the Inquirer and it did not disappoint. The OMG rolls were amazing. There were 4 in our party and we all LOVED our meals. The service was outstanding, the manager was very present and making sure everyone was satisfied, the atmosphere was energetic but not so loud that you could not hear each other during dinner. We sushi selection was amazing but there were plenty of dishes for non-sushi eaters. It was my first real sushi meal and the server made a great recommendation, and I loved it. I miss Panera but this is so much better. Thanks for a great early Thanksgiving celebration, we will be back!

Ambiance is great, cocktails were great. Service was excellent. Menu was (as usual) a little disappointing. Conventional and uninspired especially on the healthier front.

Nectar never disappoints! My favorite restaurant for the past 20 years!

Met up with a longtime friend for a long overdue lunch. We chose The Refectory since it was mid way between our two homes. This was the first time each of had dined there and the experience was very enjoyable. Food, service, and atmosphere were all great. Definitely a return visit will be in the works.
