Welcome to Riwaz Beaconsfield.It’s long been twice-Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar's dream to champion the cuisines of India, especially the sub-cultures of Bohri, Ismaili, Moplah, Chettiars, amongst others. Our recent visit to The Ivy fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, we were seated in the bar area at a sticky table, and no one approached us to take a drinks order while we waited for our table to be ready. When we were eventually seated, the table was wobbly — though the waitress did her best to fix it. The starters were enjoyable, but the mains lacked excitement and didn’t live up to the usual Ivy standard. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was affected by a table behind us playing videos loudly on their phones, which staff did not address. Overall, this visit didn’t measure up to our previous experiences at The Ivy, which is disappointing given their usual high standards.

Food was absolutely delicious - best curry I've had in a long time. Service excellent. My only slight criticism would be decor - as we went near to Christmas it would have been nice to have had a few Christmassy lights/decor. Otherwise, I can't fault it.
