- SSueKent •12 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoFantastic restaurant, located right in the heart of the West End, convenient for all locations, and near to transport links. Ambience is pitched perfectly for couples and group dining. Service is attentive, and the menus are all explained. Well done to our waiter, Rory for making our visit enjoyable. Food is of a great standard, well seasoned, well cooked and well presented. We were going to the theatre, so chose the Express Lunch. However, we ended up adding a few side dishes then having dessert as well. There is a wonderful bar in reception, with a well stocked bar. Definitely worth a visit or two.More infoWhitcomb's at The LondonerPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Leicester Square•4.4
- OTOpenTable DinervipNew York City •10 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis is a wonderful restaurant that is always magical at this time of year, especially with the traditional dripping wax candles stuffed into bottle necks in the windows. It’s so charming and full of atmosphere and we were given my favourite table in the window. The service was exceptional given we were heading to the theatre, fast and efficient without impacting on the experience Superb as alwaysMore infoAndrew EdmundsPrice: Expensive• Modern European• Soho•4.7

- AAnthonyLondon •17 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 14, 2024I went to Manzi’s with a couple of friends as a long overdue catch up. The venue is spacious and has a nautical theme to the decor. We all really liked it. The food is seafood focussed (as you might expect!) but there are some meat and vegetarian options. We had the prawn cocktail and sardine bruschetta to start which were delicious - I got food envy seeing the sardines come out so would definitely order those next time, and then we had the bouillabaisse, the steak frites and the fish of the day lemon sole as mains. All were great but the lemon sole was the favourite (I had food envy again!). For dessert we had the almond tart, cheesecake and hokey pokey - all were fine - my almond tart was good but nothing to write home about. The service was very good. The best surprise was the bill at the end - we thought for the amount of food and wine we had, it was pretty reasonable for London (this is always relative as sadly we are ‘used’ to London pricing so this was reasonable in comparison to other restaurants of the same standard). All in all we really enjoyed our visit and will be back!More infoManzi'sPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Soho•4.4
- TTobyLondon •9 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 11, 2024I love the clubby relaxed feel of this place, so it easily wins 5 stars for ambience. The service is great - typical top end London chic. But the surprise is the food. The menu doesn’t look exciting but the finished product certainly is. From the chicken salad stater through the pork belly mash with black pudding mash to the way better then normal cheese board, it was a perfect place to work through a few excellent bottles of wine whilst putting the world to rights!More infoDean Street TownhousePrice: Expensive• British• Soho•4.6
