Kokkari (pronounced “Ko-Kar-ee”) is a small fishing village located on the islands of Samos in the Aegean Sea, whose name is derived from the small onions that were once produced in the nearby fields.     The crab chicory salad was so fresh liked they just pucked the ingredients. The veal osso bucco was so tender it was like it melted in ur mouth. Excellent quality as usual , we sat outside x’mas eve nite and it was like private dining though the inside was fully booked. Our fav restaurant in SF

    Absolutely love this gem of a restaurant. Old school service, timeless delicious Italian food. Great wines and desserts. Amatriciana, Lasagna and Tonnarelli are our faves. For starters love the calamari or braesola.

    This is the the sister restaurant to Seven Hills. The menu is small, but everything sounded delish. I had the lasagnette. It was different from everyday lasagna, but amazing. Many layers of thin pasta with bolognese sauce and parmigiana cheese. My friends both had the spaghettiini. It has the perfect amount of spice. They have a good wine list. We shared budino for dessert and it was fabulous.
