- CCynthiaVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •50 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMille Fleurs is a wonderful place to have Christmas Day dinner! The decorations were beautiful, the menu selection vast, and the service excellent as always. They had some seasonal offerings like pumpkin agnolotti and lobster risotto that were exceptional.More infoMille FleursPrice: Very Expensive• French American• Rancho Santa Fe•4.8
- GGeorgeVIPLas Vegas •117 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWhat an amazing Christmas dinner at Vintana Wine and Dine. The hostess was welcoming upon arrival and accommodated my request for a window table. The ambiance was inviting, pleasant and full of Christmas cheer. Savanah came by our table and introduced herself and provided water while wishing us a Merry Christmas. Next we had Chase our phenomenal server who was kind, personable and provided top shelf customer service. We started with two tequilla drinks crafted with lime, pelligrino and mint. The drinks were fabulous. Joshua brought out some sourdough bread and also stopped by through the experience providing excellent service. Our first course arrived with my wife having the beet salad which was exquisite and I had the beyond kabobs which were simply fantastic. After the first course our main entrees arrived and wow the preparation and presentation were stellar. Joshua brought both dishes out and they were beyond amazing. My wife had the Chilean seabass entree and I had the short rib entree. Top Shelf and extremely tasty. The food was so good and epic. What a Christmas blessing. Emma brought out our dessert and she was fantastic as well. My wife had the Tiramasu and I had the pecan cheesecake. Both were beyibd words yummy. Chase also brought out a nice hot cup of coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and meal experience at Vintana Wine & Dine and highly recommend this fine dining establishment.More infoVintana Wine & DinePrice: Expensive• American• Escondido•4.5

- LLarryVIPSan Diego •105 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 19, 2024This place has been a gem for the better part of 3 decades. Chef's have come and gone but it stays consistently great. Great food, outstanding service and the best wine list to value that you can find in the whole city. We had not been in a while and during dinner we had to ask ourselves why. Try it, you'll love it.More infoThe WineSellar & BrasseriePrice: Expensive• French• Sorrento Mesa•5
- JjeffSan Diego •21 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 28, 2024We had only just recently discovered The Shop, and figured we'd check it out. After sharing a yummy bruschetta appetizer, we decided to design our own pizza. Admittedly, we made a minor error in ordering a large pizza (for two to share), but figured leftovers would be fine to take home. When the pizza came to our table, all of our toppings were huddled in the middle of the pizza. We were a little confused as to how none of the veggies had made it closer to the edge. With the pile of toppings in the middle, the center of the pizza was more than a little soggy. It was still tasty, but not all the way to the crust. It was a little weird. More, because we decided that the limited selection of specialty pizzas didn't strike our fancy (do people still say that?), we ordered our own combination of vegetables for our pizza. In the end, our pizza came out to $45-- steep even at San Diego prices. Aside from the pile of toppings in the middle, each topping ($3.50 for each topping?! Outrageous!) was far overpriced for the amount of toppings used. (Note: the price per topping is listed, but it's a bit of an afterthought on the menu and the server provided no reminder). It will be a long time before we decide to drop a pile of cash on an overpriced pizza that was rushed through the kitchen. Overall rating: Disappointing.More infoThe Shop - Rancho BernardoPrice: Moderate• Pizzeria• Poway / Rancho Bernardo•4.4
