- LLaraVIPCentral Kentucky •7 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a wonderful experience at Bourbon’s last night, one of our go to places for a great meal. Everything from the cocktails, to the apps, dinner and desert were all excellent! Our server was also fantastic, just wish I could remember her name! Highly recommend this gem of a place that I hope will be around for many years to come!More infoBourbons BistroPrice: Moderate• Southern• Frankfort Ave - Crescent Hill•4.8
- LLVIPCentral Kentucky •46 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoPorcini’s was wonderful, as always. The halibut special was delicious, bathed in a great sauce. The jumbo shrimp with risotto, a regular menu item, always very good. Love the delicious olive oil and cheese that comes with the bread. Great atmosphere, that was warm and buzzing even tho it was very cold and rainy outside. Excellent service. Food and service consistently good. - TToddCentral Kentucky •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe were seated immediately for our 7:15 Valentine's Day reservation. The service was excellent despite the place being packed, and the food was delicious, as usual. The staff is always friendly and seem like they are happy to be there. Our dinner was a great value for the quality of the overall experience. We spend only slightly more to dine at very mediocre places in this town. This is my favorite restaurant in the city. The bar manager is excellent and whether you hang at the bar or choose to be seated at a table, the service is always spot-on, without being stuffy. The wine selection was nice as there were some good quality wines for no more than you would pay at any middle of the road establishment. The brussell sprouts app was tasty, as was the encrusted goat cheese salad. I forgot to ask if the squash blossom app is off the menu permanently, but I am assuming it is seasonal. I sure hope so, because it fantastic. I had the pasta dish with chicken (amazing), my wife had Salmon which is always perfection. She doesn't eat red meat or pork, so it is nice that she can always find a tasty choice here. We were stuffed so no room for desert.More infoVaranesePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Frankfort Ave - Crescent Hill•4.7
- JJohnCentral Kentucky •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had an excellent meal. Service was very good, food was excellent, we had a nice table in the back room. My wife had the Filet and I had scrimp scampi. Both were very good. The filet was tasty and very tender and cooked right. The scampi was good, could have used another scrimp or two (had 5). I thought it could use a little more garlic. We had the stuffed mushrooms and calamari for appetizers. I will say, these may have been the best tasting and the best cooked calamari I have had. They were cooked perfect and were very tasty. My wife loved the stuffed mushrooms. We had the chocolate torte and the tiramisu. They were delicious. I thought the lady fingers on the tiramisu were a bit soggy but the taste was still very good. The chocolate torte was, wonderful as chocolate always is. A very nice valentines day dinner. Will definitly visit more often.More infoDiFabio's CasapelaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Frankfort Ave - Crescent Hill•4.8
