Kokkari (pronounced “Ko-Kar-ee”) is a small fishing village located on the islands of Samos in the Aegean Sea, whose name is derived from the small onions that were once produced in the nearby fields.     We love Backdoor Bistro. Great food, great service, and a cool vibe. Our waiter was awesome, as was the young lady filling water glasses and taking away plates. Everyone is always very polite. My only wish is that they would bring back their fried chicken and add it to the weekend menu. Also, a little surf and turf would be a perfect addition to the menu.

    As usual Bistro Jeanty did not disappoint. Went here last night for my wife’s birthday and had a wonderful experience. Our server Alexa was outstanding! She was very knowledgeable and attentive and we really felt well cared for. The sweetbreads dish was the best I’ve ever eaten and the chocolate croissant bread pudding just put everything over the top. Thank you Bistro Jeanty and Alexa for providing us with a memorable time, we will be back soon.

    When we checked in with hostess she said, Whose birthday is it? Once seated the staff brought to the table a lovely handwritten birthday card. Though we chose not to order dessert they brought an irresistible vanilla ice cream with lit candle to complete my celebration. Service was impeccable. The waiter was able to say “yes” to each request. The halibut upon a bed of lentil and carrot was divine. They offered a “house wine” that was red, a Cabernet Sauvignon. It was excellent. This restaurant has their act together. No wonder almost every seat was filled.

    Bottega in Napa offers an unforgettable dining experience with its exceptional menu. We started with crispy Calamari, perfectly paired with a tangy dipping sauce. The Ricotta Gnocchi della Nonna was rich and melt-in-your-mouth, while the Carbonara al Carbone delivered smoky, savory flavors. The Pollo alla Diavola was perfectly cooked, with a fiery kick that complemented the tender chicken. The Habachi added a unique flair, and the Truffle Fries were decadent and crispy. Paired with a glass of Flowers Pinot Noir and Italian wine, the meal was an absolute delight. Bottega combines innovation and tradition, making it a must-visit in Napa. Celebrated my husband birthday and definitely we will come back here again.

    This is one of our very favorite restaurants in San Francisco. Food and service are impeccable. It is particularly lovely to sit in the main room with the fireplace where they are often roasting meat. It is a special place. Don’t tell too many people!!
