Best Seasonal Restaurants in Burnside

We chose the feed me menu and it was just the right size and every dish was excellent. They also came out quickly and without large gaps between each dish that can make you feel full before you’re even halfway done. The service was friendly but not obtrusive and the cocktails were delicious!

Another very enjoyable evening at BF. Great food and service as always. We sat at the very back for the first time and it was so great to look at all the buzz. Always so happy when having a night with friends here

Is mostly a breakfast place with a very limited menu. We went for lunch and ordered a “Breakfast Bap”, which was lovely but wanted more of a selection for lunch.

Firstly our server Joe.. 5 stars! It’s not often you get someone who understands what good service looks like. He was relaxed, attentive and wonderful! Don’t lose him! The food was so-so. The hokkien noodles with chicken was so salty oh my.. I couldn’t have enough water my mouth was so dry. The salmon sashimi was fine, nothing fancy, not much flavour. Everyone was seated in the one section and the noise level was insane. It got so loud, every time I said something to my mum she was ‘sorry what did you say’. She couldn’t hear. When we walked out, the other section was virtually empty. Why would you seat people like that, for the convenience of your section staff? Anyway, not pleasant at all. I have 4 stars because Joe was so amazing but if it was someone with less experience you’d probably be lucky to get a 2

Had the Steak ant Frites special on a Thursday - asked for a side of veges which they happily provided and was fresh and hot. Steaks were tasty - fries good though were prefer chips to French fries if possible Would recommend
