Best Seasonal Restaurants in Avon

We went specifically for the omakase (chef choice) sushi tasting dinner. The choices and presentations were fabulous. We were at the sushi bar and were the only customers in that section of the restaurant. When we initially sat down the service felt spotty. It took awhile for us to be served water and to be given a beverages menu. The manager noticed and he actually took care of us. Kudos to him. I would definitely return for the sushi. We are big fans of the other Zen family restaurants and this is a great addition.

Great food and great ambience. Christmas Eve was packed so louder than normal. Our server Talia was terrific. Food was delicious and everything was quick for being so packed full during the holiday.

Christmas Eve, part of 5 with a toddler. This takes extra planning on behalf of the staff. We were seated in a corner, so we could keep our commotion contained! There were options for a high chair or a booster seat…awesome. The waitstaff brought the toddler’s noodles and broccoli quickly! Major win there. The food was delicious (including the toddler’s dinner). Everything was prompt. We did not feel rushed, and we did not disturb the other diners too much because of where we were seated. Thank you for making our Christmas Eve dinner a success.

Our overall experience at Millwright’s was fabulous! Delicious food, spectacular ambiance, and impeccable service. Tucked away in a cozy booth we were able to enjoy a lovely New England wintery scene with the beautiful brook below. The Christmas prix fixe was delight after delight and the cherry on top of our evening was the attention and care brought by our server Ron. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and brought great banter to the table. I know he really made the evening for our whole party.

We love going there. It seems every time we go they have new staff though not cooks or servers but the table servers. They could be a little more assertive.
