Best Seasonal Restaurants in Central Saanich

Great food as usual. Waiter was fantastic. Don’t know his name but was awesome.(tall older bald with 30 years of experience). Prices have gone up but still good value and size of meals. Steaks cooked perfectly. Had 2 complimentary desserts for the 2 people celebrating early birthdays. Congrats to all. Great job

Our server was amazing! He was better than the food was. The food was mediocre at best. Things were not very warm in the serving trays. Bacon was swimming in grease in the tray. Hash brown patties were soggy. Not crispy at all. It seemed as if some things were plated the night before ie: cold cheeses, as they were difficult to get off of the serving tray. No pancakes or french toast or waffles being available was a little disappointing. Im not going to lie, we attended the Christmas day brunch last year (2023) and were really impressed, that is one of the reasons why we decided to attend this year. The offerings available this year were disappointing. So much so that we discussed at the table about finding somewhere else to enjoy Christmas Day brunch/breakfast in 2025. The venue was amazing, the server was amazing but the food missed the mark in a big way. I know you cannot satisfy everyone all of the time but even the basic breakfast items were disappointing.

We went to Glo for an early Christmas Eve dinner and it was lovely. The ambiance in the restaurant for the season was beautiful. Our waiter was knowledgeable and very personable. There were three of us, all ordering a different entree and all three were very good and beautifully presented. We all ordered dessert and they too were delicious. I personally ordered the bread pudding and it was the best I have ever tasted - I am still talking about that bread pudding! All in all it was exactly the experience we had hoped to have for Christmas Eve.

My husband and I were looking for a restaurant that was outside of our usual rotation, and I had never been to Med Grill before. Loved every aspect of it. The food was delicious, our server was so friendly and the environment was warm, festive and very inviting. We both agreed that this will now be a part of our regular date night spots! Thanks for a great experience!
