    il Carciofo is BEAUTIFUL. It’s open and airy and has great classic Chicago Italian restaurant vibes but in a modern open space. The food is amazing. Classic dishes like carbonara and handmade pastas that are simple but done at an exceptionally high level and quality. It felt warm and homey but still so creative. Must gets: - Carciofo Alla Guida - maybe the coolest and unique preparation of artichokes I’ve ever had. Delicious and lemony and crispy. - Pesce Spada Crudo - Joe Flamm does crudo better than anyone and I’ll fight you on that - Rigatoni Alla Carbonara - the perfect al dente rigatoni with the most luxurious eggy guanciale carbonara Can’t wait to be back to try many, many more things on this menu.
