Best Seasonal Restaurants in Downtown

Thanksgiving dinner a Stella San Jac was a delightful meal! I give big kudos to the chef! Every plate had a seasonal flavor with a twist. Every dish was true to the spirit of the holiday. The portions were crafted perfectly and allowed us to go home with leftovers! What more could you ask?!?! It was lovely way to celebrate Thanksgiving!

While the food is close to perfection, whether you go for seafood or steak, the service at Eddy V’s is just about the very best it could possibly be. We don’t go often, but always enjoy it it when we do. it’s been our Thanksgiving spot for the last 9-10 years and we are never disappointed. We don’t usually get the Thanksgiving meal, however. Today we had a mix of steaks, scallops, sea bass, and sole. EVERYONE was very happy.

Tried something new this year for Thanksgiving- Perry’s. Took my mother and had a delightful time. The staff was on point and friendly as we arrived. We did choose lunch over dinner and it was great. They were busy but Corey our waiter gave us excellent service. I am hesitant to go out on holidays as often the service and food aren’t great. This meal was delicious! I had seabass and the beet salad off the regular menu. Mother had the thanksgiving meal which was perfect and enough for leftovers. Can’t wait to be back next year!

One of our favorite restaurants in Austin. Great service, great food and wonderful attention to detail.Everybody was very very nice to us and made my bday celebration feel special. We’ll be back as we always do.

Their happy hour is my favorite excuse to not cook dinner during the week. The Condesa margarita has to be my favorite cocktail in all of Austin, and my favorite weekday happy hour treat! The service here is always top notch, and the ingredients are always fresh!
