Best Seasonal Restaurants in Downtown

Our waiter made terrific recommendations and our dinner was excellent. I picked the spot to take my boss from NYC and a colleague. We had the tuna appetizer and bang bang shrimp to share then had meatloaf, short ribs and I had the salmon with mushroom risotto. All of us enjoyed it and were impressed. And the salmon was the best salmon dish I have ever had. Seasoned perfectly and cooked just right for me (medium). I can’t wait to go back and have a lunch reservation for next week! Another visitor to impress from the office -this time London.

I was completely appalled by how good the burger at Main Kitchen was. Hands down, this is one of the best burgers in Houston. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and bursting with flavor, it was almost too much for me to handle—so much so that I could only eat half of it while there. If you’re a burger enthusiast, you owe it to yourself to try this. Just be warned: it’s so packed with flavor, you might need to take a break mid-bite! Main Kitchen was. Hands down, this is one of the best burgers in Houston. Delicious food! Great place to eat for groups. The location is great, and atmosphere was fun. Our waiter did an excellent job as well. Try the spinach dip for an app, the steak, or the scallops, and definitely give the brussel sprouts a go. Everyone at our table cleared their plates!

Food and service were excellent. Kudos to Juan for great service once again. My husband had the burger and I had the salmon crepe. Both meals were well-prepared and well-presented. The profiteroles for dessert were amazing. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Houston.

Christmas Eve dinner with friends in a full dining room and nothing….i mean nothing went sideways. The hostess, bartender waiter and management. Everything was perfect. First time to Morton’s downtown Houston and I will recommend and return. Thank you for memorable evening.
