Best Seasonal Restaurants in Morningside

This was probably one of the best lunches I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. I have been to an Ivy restaurant before in Windsor on my last trip to the UK but I don't remember it being quite this good. The food was extraordinary, service impeccable, and because I was by myself, I was able to observe the staff and how they operate. It was so fascinating watching such a well-oiled machine. I used to work in hospitality and it was a delight to watch. Mimi was incredible and so wonderful to chat with, she even picked up that I was Canadian, not American. The dessert was to die for as well. The whole experience really made my day. Not to mention the decor of The Ivy is just incredible. Even the bathroom was amazing. Highly recommend this chain if you are ever in UK, they have many locations to choose from. Cheers.

We had the pleasure of dining at your restaurant today, and it truly exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel incredibly welcome by the friendly and attentive waiter. A special mention to this gentleman for the kind gesture to celebrate my partners birthday – it really made the day feel even more memorable. The highlight of the meal was definitely the steak. Cooked to absolute perfection, it was tender, flavorful, and simply one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Paired with their delicious sides, it was an unforgettable dish that I’ll be thinking about for quite some time! I highly recommend Mia to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine and a truly special dining experience. A beautiful festive treat. We felt like we’d walked into a Parisian bistro somewhere off Place de la Republic. All the food was awesome (my bourguignon with buttery mash was delicious) and the drinks (rum old fashioned, bottle of Corbiere) were perfect. Add in an attentive service, great ambience and a wedding party, wandering through to rapturous applause, and we had everything to make this a highly memorable and enjoyable lunchtime. Highly recommended. Magnifique!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Was a wee bit dissapointed that the Christmas menu had disappeared. In saying that the choices were lovely. We brought our two friends for lunch instead of buying them gifts. The service was excellent. We will get back again.
