Best Seasonal Restaurants in Hales Corners

Two of us ordered the Gnocchi with Butternut Squash. It was good, but we found it was too sweet. after a few bites. One order the Sweet Corn and Tomato Risotto, which she said was excellent. For dessert: Creme Brulee and Banoffee Pie...both were excellent. Our server was outstanding and we appreciated her attentiveness.

It is so nice to know that there’s a high quality dining experience like EsterEv in Milwaukee. The chefs tasting menu is a wonderful food adventure for curious diners looking to expand their palette and blow their minds. I brought a friend for her birthday and it was perfect. The welcome course was a mother’s hug after you come in from the cold. Each course was thoughtful in flavor and texture. I highly recommend the accompaniments - the hash brown with caviar and the cheese donut are NOT to be missed!! Service was wonderful. I could really tell that they enjoy where they work. And it all comes from a tiny kitchen. I’m so impressed!! I can’t wait to come back.

We visited on a Friday evening. The hostess was very friendly. Our server Chris was very attentive. She was always checking on our beverage, water and meal but not pushy. We all commented on her outstanding service. The fish was excellent. My wife had the beer battered walleye, my son had the beer battered cod and I had the breaded perch. All were done to perfection. My son’s cocktail was very good as well. An excellent supper club to visit again.

This was our first time going out to eat for Thanksgiving in over a decade as we usually host and our first time at Matty’s. The food exceeded expectations, even my picky 10 year old went up for 3rds on the turkey. The banquet hall is beautiful done, and it was so well organized. My husband especially liked that he could still watch football. Our waitress was so nice and accommodating, my father ended up getting sick that morning and couldn’t attend. We were able to make him a to go box which usually doesn’t happen at a buffet. We will definitely be back
