Best Seasonal Restaurants in Headingley

Always enjoy the food at the Keg but this time my prime rib was lukewarm warm at best. Delicious but cool. Everything else, sides,appetizer & soup were hot. I have a sight issue so I find the Keg very dark both for getting around and reading the menu. It would be nice to have some light at the table but as the tables are quite small, I understand room would be an issue. Wait staff are professional and well trained. Ambience is nice.

The place was great I just think it would be better to use cod or halibut instead of trout for the fish . Also maybe add an optional dish once in a while

The appetizer cheese fondue was excellent. The selection of dippers was huge (fruit, vegetables, breads). The fondue portion was very large and filling and would make a perfect meal on it's own. The entre (steak) was done perfectly medium-rare, as ordered. The mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus and mushrooms were delicious. We couldn't finish our entrees because we were so full from the fondue. We each had 1 taste of the chocolate fondue, but that was as far as we could manage. This meal was perfectly prepared. Service was excellent. The dinning room was quiet and the music enjoyable. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Have dined here on a number of occasions. Room is beautiful. Staff attentive. Though a half hour early for our reservation the host went out of his way to accommodate us. Was greatly appreciated. Food is always good and was last evening as well.

The server was very nice, explained the various dishes. Was quick to refill my wine glass. The borscht was a little thin and the roll was still cold in the middle.. the shortribs were good but could have had a more robust flavour. I couldnt taste the Guiness which was apparently the sauce. Good overall and i would go back and try a different entree.
