Best Seasonal Restaurants in Ashwell

First visit. Found a parking 3 mins away behind some building which was great. Was there for Fri lunch. Restaurant was clean, well presented. Food was excellent. Wine was lovely. The waitresses were very friendly and service was great! Will definitely visit again to try other things in the menu as lots to trial. Meal was well presented and ingredients felt fresh. Worth a visit !

Our first experience at Redcoats and a very good one at that. We shall certainly be back. The food was lovely and the staff very friendly, helpful and efficient without being intrusive. We used Redcoats to meet friends on a half way basis. Everyone agreed it was an excellent choice and ticked all our boxes. We all commented on a lovely relaxing lunch and afternoon. I love this place! The ambient setting with happy customers, the friendly team who are so professional and the freshness of the food that is amply portioned and beautifully presented. Outstanding food and excellent customer service. Our experience at the fox was fantastic- all the food was delicious and our waitress was so lovely. We had a guest with a gluten allergy and he was treated so well by staff. Our waitress made sure to spend a bit of extra time with him to point out the items on the menu that were suitable, reassuring us that the allergy was no issue to them to cater for.

Great food and attentive service for what is is a very good lunchtime set menu.
