- AAleciaVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •13 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur fam of 4 requested outside seating and expectation was met. Service was impeccable! We were always promptly served and checked on — questions were happily answered and added info given without inquiry! IAN was too notch! Manager also came over to introduce himself and check on our contentment with meal. Food was delicious. Loved the Kampachi done warayaki style. The corn ribs are a must! The Nikko cocktail drink was delicious and refreshing. The Goose dirty martinis gave option for blue cheese olives and it was off the hook! Coffee Semifreddo was like nothing we’d tried and with the banana side flavor …made it a must! Cost here is $$$$$ but if you’re looking for a memorable and special dining experience while on Island— this fits the bill!More infoCanoeHousePrice: Very Expensive• Creative Japanese• Kamuela•4.7
- JJaredSan Francisco Bay Area •11 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe’ve been to big island 4 times now and this is always a must visit. You do need a reservation and you’ll still wait 10-15 minutes but the food is always great. It’s not cheap but that’s typical for Hawaiian restaurants, expect to pay more for an excellent meal and you won’t be disappointedMore infoTommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar - Mauna Lani, Big IslandPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Kamuela•4.7

- FFredVIPGreater Boston •23 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 27, 2024Chef Hess (and FORC owner) comes out to chat with you and ask about your meal - and that tells you a lot about how this place operates. Very solid service, nice spot right down in the center of Waimea but you feel like you're out in the countryside. Ahi sashimi and "adult" mac and cheese (gnocchi + goat cheese + bacon) were both excellent. The NY strip was locally sourced (Parker Ranch) and was super flavorful. Cocktails were also professionally prepared and outstanding; dessert was macadamia nut and chocolate heavy and that was all to the good as well. Would come back in a heartbeat.More infoFORCPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Kamuela•4.6
- JJeannieVIPSan Diego •24 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 12, 2024Hotel is under construction, but don't let that stop you from having a fabulous meal with a great view. The entire staff is impeccable, from check in person to bartender to server to the bus boy. If you are in the area or want to take a drive north from Kona, we highly recommend this establishment. First Class Award goes to this great property.More infoManta at Mauna KeaPrice: Very Expensive• Pacific Rim• Kohala Coast•4.5
