We believe wine is better with food & food is better with wine. A perfect pairing is an experience everyone should enjoy..often. Our unique approach to food and wine means we are "wine first". We first curate the wine list which includes 65+ wines by the glass and then design a food menu that specifically complements the wine. The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Julian Silvera who spent his early culinary career in restaurants in his native NYC. He then took his talents to Florida's Knife and Spoon, where he helped garner a coveted Michelin star. Chef Julian is passionate about sourcing hyperlocal ingredients & has a strong focus on sustainability. Our service team includes ten sommeliers and is proud to offer guests more than 700 wines by the bottle. We are a casually elegant wine bistro open Tues-Sat 5PM to 10PM. The Champagne Bar is open daily noon-10PM. Children are welcome on the patio. The Wine Bistro and Champagne Bar seats adults only. Live Music Nightly.

We, Hashiri Bettei Kaiseki Aoki, deliver the experience of “kaiseki ryori,” a type of Japanese fine dining which historically developed to be served in the Japanese tea room. The tea room, as a space, symbolizes the home of the Japanese tea ceremony, a simple yet transformative experience offering a pause in time to appreciate the seemingly small experience of sharing tea. As such, we’ve designed both the architecture and the experience, to condense an infinite expanse into an extremely small space. The space is designed sans distracting elements. Lighting will be subtle and architectural details are clean yet warm. Designed to allow dishes to remain the focal point of the experience, our space represents the endless potential for an intimate dining experience that continues to linger on pallet and in mind well after the end.

Our server was excellent providing us with above par attention and allowing us to split up our bill 3 ways. Our food was delicious with just the right size portions. My 4th visit to Los Gatos Parkside but first time visits for my 3 friends. All of them were impressed and will return.

The newly opened Gardenia has lovely decor and ambiance. Quiet enough you can actually converse with your dinner partner. My husband and I enjoyed cocktails and a shared salad. He liked his scallops but I do not recommend the "moules frites." The fries were put into the mussel broth, rendering them of course soggy. Why do that? What a waste - but I guess I didn't need to eat those fries anyway. Prices are high for the quantity and quality received.

We had an incredible dinner last night…It was one of those meals that sticks with you. Right from the start, the atmosphere was something special. The live music added to the experience, making the whole evening feel warm, lively, and just a little bit magical. The wine list was seriously impressive…one of the best I’ve come across either domestically and internationally. The pairings were spot on, bringing out the best in every dish. And, speaking of food, the steak frites and braised short rib were absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and exactly what you’d hope for. Dessert was just as memorable. The Basque cheesecake and almond financier were both exceptional, the kind of sweet finish that lingers in the best way. If I had to nitpick, the amuse bouche bites and Korean fried chicken felt a little unbalanced, but honestly, that was a minor detail in an otherwise fantastic meal. The service was top notch, attentive, friendly, and never overbearing. Overall, it was a phenomenal night, and I can’t wait to go back.

We enjoyed our first meal at Opelia and would be happy to return. Service was professional - helpful and unobtrusive. The appetizer of dips was lovely and was suggested by our waitress. The vegetarian moussaka was delicious, though you must love cheese. We shared it, along with another entree. I think it would be too filling for one person. The remodeled interior is attractive. There were flickering lights and it is an old building, so they might want to check on that.
