- AAlanChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoI’ve been a fan of this place for years and love celebrating special occasions here. The food, service, and overall experience are usually fantastic and a good value. However, after today’s visit, I recommend reconsidering if you plan to dine here with a larger group. We were a party of eight, and the seating was extremely tight—not just at our table but in how closely spaced the tables are from one another. It was uncomfortable having to constantly shift chairs or stand up to let other guests pass. While everything else was top-notch, the cramped seating definitely detracted from the experience. I expected more thoughtfulness in accommodating larger groups for such an upscale restaurant. That said, if you’re dining solo, as a couple, or with a small party, you’ll likely have a fantastic time. I hope Hugo’s reconsiders their seating for larger groups because today could have easily gone from simply a good experience to a truly excellent one.More infoHugo's Frog Bar & Chop House - Des PlainesPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Des Plaines•4.8

The food is great, the service is great, there is no problem parking, we never wait when we get in, although we always make a reservation. Our most recent trip was for Thanksgiving and the meal was excellent. It is a must try restaurant for sure!More infoWildfire - GlenviewPrice: Moderate• American• Glenview•4.8

My friends and I meet up on the day of Thanksgiving for lunch every year and the restaurant we used to go to closed down. We’ve been trying to find a new place and we decided this is the place to go every year now! Loved their Thanksgiving menu and it was delicious!!More infoCooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Morton Grove, ILPrice: Moderate• American• Morton Grove•4.6

The restaurant decor was beautiful, the server Ellie was very friendly and helpful in explaining our choices on the menu. Our meal was delicious and we enjoyed our selections and were happy with the delicious Greek Yogurt dessert for the birthday girl which we all happily shared with her. We give Ema 10 stars and will be returning and we will recommend your restaurant to everyone! The Kupperman FamilyMore infoEma - GlenviewPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Glenview•4.7

We didnt like the special drink, but besides that the food was great. Service was on point as well. The only thing we dont like about Libertad is you come away smelling like the you were in the kitchen, because in a way you are. Restaurant needs to find a way to keep the smoke from the kitchen out of the restaurant. Dinner was also very pricey. But we will definitely go backMore infoLibertadPrice: Moderate• Latin American• Skokie•4.7
