- JJuliaVIPToronto / Ontario •11 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoYesterday, we were served by Naomi, a very attentive waitress. Everything was served very quickly. The food was slightly different from the last time - we ordered the steak with sushi again, and my husband had the blackened chicken, followed by desserts. The chocolate cake was salty, which is probably a Canadian twist, but it felt unusual for us. There was also a girl playing the violin alongside a DJ during our dinner, which made the evening very romantic.More infoJOEY King StPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Financial District•4.8

It's an elegant and beautiful space yet still feels cozy and welcoming. I'd attribute that to the excellent staff who are attentive (but not cloyingly so) and friendly. They remember guests' preferences, make solid recommendations and are always pleasant. No matter how busy the place gets, you never feel rushed. Needless to say, the food is the main reason to visit, and Chef Michael Angeloni and his team don't disappoint. The seasonal menu is exceptional - innovative but not inaccessible - fresh and flavourful. Their bartenders also make a great martini amongst other creative cocktails. There really is something for everyone at the Berczy.More infoThe BerczyPrice: Expensive• Bistro• Harbourfront•4.7
- PPaulWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoAmano was amazing! The ambiance was very cool. It was pretty crowded but our server was attentive throughout the meal. And most importantly, the food was wonderful! We got the arancini and focaccia appetizers to share, I got the mushroom tagliatelle and my husband got the braised short rib entree, and we finished with the tiramisu and pumpkin panna cotta for dessert. We loved everything and didn’t feel ridiculously full when we left. We will definitely go back next time we’re in Toronto!More infoAmano TrattoriaPrice: Expensive• Italian• St. Lawrence Market•4.6

An amazing veal schnitzel chop with all the trimmings. And for starters a brilliant lobster salad with delicious pear tatin to finish. Excellent fun service from Marketa. Such a well run restaurant with great staff, a wonderful chef team and reasonable prices for such impressive food. Others in my group really enjoyed the maple glazed salmon and the seared tuna on edamame. The service staff were very attentive and the ambiance was warm and lively.
