Best Seasonal Restaurants in Bucktown / Wicker Park

This was one of my top five dining experiences ever! We got kitchen counter seating which I love- being right in the mix and chatting with the chefs is my jam! Cocktail were on point but the food…. I mean come on!!!! We had zucchini fritters, a butternut squash filled pasta dish that had this amazing rich and subtly sweet sauce, roasted beets with this crazy pop of pomegranate and risotto with a taleggio fonduta that I will be dreaming about for a very long time! Bravo, rose mary- you killed it!!!!

Overall, the best restaurant I’ve been to since moving to Chicago. The appetizers were phenomenal, the main courses felt a little short, but still we’re good . And I did notice that they forgot to give us our onion soup and sparkling water we ordered 

Speakeasy with creative cocktails. The front room is quieter and intimate, the back room has more energy. We prefer front room which is mostly for parties of 2 but a couple of 4-seaters. Cocktails do not disappoint so be prepared for an adventure

No words can describe the amazing experience we had at Boka. The professionalism from the staff and the “flavor bombs” from all of the dishes we had were second to none. Thank you!!

The food is delicious! The charred cauliflower appetizer is amazing. We also enjoyed the lamb chops and the vindaloo. The vindaloo was not spicy so if you like spice we recommend asking for more. Lots of wonderful spices and flavors.
