We started with a warm sourdough loaf with bee honey, seafood cocktail and a haddock souffle' - all beautifully presented and delicious. For mains, the pan fried sea bass was perfectly cooked, and the venison was tender and full of flavor. An unforgettable dining experience - we highly recommend The Refectory and look forward to returning!More infoYork Minster RefectoryPrice: Expensive• British• York•4.5
- CChristineYorkshire •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoOn a cold and rainy night in pre-Christmas York, we were glad to be able to secure a table for two. We read the menu and thought we would try the Monday night burger offer. The food exceeded our expectations by a mile. The quality was fantastic, the food piping hot, the service very good considering how busy it was with Christmas visitors. The surroundings so relaxed and comfortable we just had to stay for a lovely pud, a totally fab cheesecake with pear poached in mulled wine, a total showstopper! 😋 Altogether a lovely experience and only five minutes dash back to our hotel in the rain. Would definitely visit again.More infoThe Fat Badger YorkPrice: Moderate• British• York•4.5
