Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Black Hawk

Carrie, our server, was terrific and cheerful! Dennis who manned the rolling stations and prepared our Caesar salad and steak Diane, was also great. Very personable and well spoken. Loved the amuse buche and the kind woman (Lorraine?) who brought us more. The French onion soup was yummy! The lamb was a little tough and I disliked the sauce it was served on. That also made the pistachio coating fall off. But a lovely evening all around.

Great gem of town of Breckenridge, always great service and food. Loved the entertainment as well.

Had to send Ribeye back. Was overcooked. 2nd cook not much better. Chicken a little too done and a bit dry. Chocolate cake a bit dry.

The service and the prim rib were beyond amazing, but the Brussels sprouts left a bad taste in my mouth. They were undercooked and had a strange taste. My wife ate 1 and I gave it ye good ol’ college try, eating 3 before the disgust set in.

Be transported to the German Austrian border with this wonderful restaurant! The beautiful decor and flowers outside are indicative of their passion for food and the customer experience. We started with the weisswurst and Pretzel as well as the fondue. These are fabulous and very filling..try the mountain Climber soup - it’s the epitome of savory bliss. Be careful..everything is so good you may overeat…pace yourself!
