Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Glenside

First time dining for date night, but will not be the last! Bistro Albertino was divine from start to finish. Service is superior, ambiance is quaint and quiet, food is delectable! We opted for daily offerings, as well as specials. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the traditional style of Italian cooking in every item - highly recommend!!

We went to our usual go to, Iron Table in Chestnut Hill. We had a reservation,we were seated promptly and a server arrived immediately. Beers, food all great. Its a very good place!

This place is absolutely fantastic! The building is absolutely amazing The hostess and waiter were very nice And the food !!! I ordered the surf & turf. My steak was seriously cooked to perfection (medium rare) and the shrimp were big. It was a very nice dinner and a beautiful place.

Quick bite after a long flight- great service while watching end of a football game. Mushroom soup rich and delicious. Always a go to.

Sunday night so not all that busy at the Jarrettown Inn. Staff was great and gave us just the right amount of attention. The daily specials were all great choices and the chosen was done to perfection. Had a great time and definitely would return Only changes I would recommend would be to the appetizers and small plate dishes that would be starters or happy hour offerings. Would love to see offerings that were more in line with comfort food leaning towards maybe an Italian twist to regular American fair. On way home from the office the Jarrettown would be a great place to have a cocktail and nosh on some not so formal offerings while chatting with friends.
