Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Granger

The new owners are continuing with the tradition of Doc Pierce's with excellent food and service. We sat at the bar celebrating the 30th anniversary of our first date and it was wonderful.

Incredible place, food and service was excellent. Staff was extremely Profesional.

Three over-70 folks were extremely happy with this first visit to Brasserie 23. My appetizer was a tasty lentil salad, followed by a spicy and succulent Basque seafood chowder. I know I’ll be back and have that chowder again. Pricing was excellent. Overall, I feel we received an exceptional value.

Our family of vegetarians/vegans enjoyed a Christmas Eve early 4pm dinner upstairs overlooking the street---such a great table! Although there is usually only one veg/vegan main option offered, the veg sides we ordered as one meal were deliciously-seasoned, perfectly-cooked and yummy (brussels sprouts, cauliflower and french fries). The vegan offering on the main menu of shitake and wild rice was unique and possibly the best vegan entree I have ever had at Cafe Navarre. Our server was knowledgeable, helpful with menu options we could eat and suggesting adjustments chef could make, and attentive at a perfect level. Wines were great; my vodka cocktail was tasty but seemed a little light on the vodka. A very pleasant experience as always at Cafe Navarre :)

Our dining experience at Yesterday’s last night certainly didn’t disappoint! The drinks, dinner and dessert were delicious. We all tried the perch and it was prepared perfectly. The garlic mashed potatoes were a perfect accompaniment. Key lime pie paired perfectly with dinner. All in all diners choosing Yesterday’s for the first time will be very pleased!
