Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Hicksville

I hadn't been to the Milleridge Inn in a good 20 years. It was just as wonderful, I had almost forgotten how much I missed it. Charming place, great food and service. I intend to return more frequently!

First experience, but not our last!! Our experience at Vincent’s Clam Bar was nothing short of AMAZING!! Even on a busy Saturday night, the service was top notch!! our waiter was attentive, polite, and made sure everything was perfect. The food was OUTSTANDING with every dish cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, so we had plenty to take home. The watermelon martini was an absolute standout, and the Neapolitan dessert was the perfect way to end the meal. The lively atmosphere, incredible flavors, and impeccable service make this a spot we’re eager to revisit soon! Highly recommend it!

We had a great dining experience here. Stepping into the restaurant felt like an upscale venue in Manhattan but with a lot more space. The staff was so pleasant and warm. Our server’s Henry and Filipe were simply incredible. They were a great team and made sure we were well taken care of. They were so accommodating to our young kids and guided us through the menu with ease. Which brings me to the food. Delicious!!!! I usually take pics of my food but it was so good I couldn’t wait to dive in. I will definitely be returning here.

I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment with my sister and mother last evening, and everything exceeded our expectations. From the expertly crafted cocktails to the delicious dishes, every detail was spectacular. We particularly appreciated the intimate setting and the perfectly curated ambiance, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. The service was exceptional, attentive, and friendly throughout the evening. I am thrilled to have discovered this hidden gem and am already looking forward to my next visit.

Dinner was delicious. The meatballs reminded me of meatballs that I had in Italy… All dishes we ordered were plentiful and there was enough to have again for a second meal. Only complaint I had was that our table was by the window and it was a bit chilly but we sucked it up and didn’t ask to be reseated elsewhere when tables started to open up. We will definitely return again. The pizza looked delicious too!!
