Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Texas

The staff was great, food was good. Was crowded and noisy. But, I know Friday lunch is busy and especially at this time of year and was OK with that even though I like a more relaxed atmosphere. Only thing was they brought our wine at the same time. Would have liked to enjoy a few sips of wine before my meal arrived. Probably would have had a second glass if they brought the first glass earlier before my meal.

Dining out on Christmas Day is not our tradition but our numbers are reduced. Three of us made a reservation at Dario’s Steak & Seafood. It is a beautiful venue and well decorated for the holidays. We were seated immediately and considered the drinks menu. We chose a Mafia Martini, Moscow Mule & Lemon Drop. All were beautifully presented and well made. Our dinners came almost immediately after our cocktails. I would have preferred a more leisurely pace but the food was well plated and presented. Each of us was pleased with the Pecan Crusted Red Snapper a particular delight. Our meal ended with dessert & particularly enjoyed the Key Lime Pie. I highly recommend Darios for a special occasion or anytime you deserve a delicious meal.

This location of Perry’s NEVER disappoints! Even with having a pre-fixe menu for Christmas, there were still so many options. I am absolutely obsessed with your lobster bisque, and have never had it better anywhere else! The service was amazing, our server, Maria was so warm and friendly. Thank you and your team for working hard during the holidays, it is truly appreciated.
