Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Bee Caves / Lakeway / Lake Travis

I have never had steak or meat such as at BP Steakhouse, I love me some steak and im so critical of the food I eat. My person and I made reservations for Valentines day and it was so worth it. The staff was amazing and so was the owner. We had filet mignon wrapped in bacon as well as chicken wrapped in bacon. Filet mignon and other cuts of meat, the mashed potatoes were superb and so were the rolls, and omg the alcoholic mixed drinks we had were also amazing. Do not hesitate to try this amazing place.

While the Valentines experience was pretty expensive, it was some of the best food I have ever had. Each dish had some of the best prepared food I have had in a very long time. The waitstaff was prompt, efficient, and extremely professional. The ambience of the area and the building were perfect for the scenario. The choice in music was a bit strange given the type of food being served, but that is such a minor complaint. Overall, it was a fantastic experience for Valentines day and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a fantastic meal and a fantastic date spot for these special occasions.

Excellent Valentine's fixe prixe menu for late lunch. Steaks always top-notch. Innovative fusion calamari w/thai salad. Carissa provided outstanding service, attending to every need. Hostess took an inordinate amount of time to seat us when she could clearly see my spouse was mobility-challenged and uncomfortable with no seating to wait. Then hostess proceeded to seat us at the table farthest from the door, again clearly seeing my spouse could not walk far and used a cane. Table was also immediately next to kitchen, so not a very attractive place to seat older folks with mobility and hearing disabilities. Carissa made up for the hostess's poor judgment and was on top of our every need/desire.

We had a great 54th Anniversary dinner and Morgan made it extra special. The rest of the staff also came by and wished us a Happy Anniversary. Overall a great evening.

We had not been back to Red Ash since before the Pandemic. Shame on us! Now we certainly will make a new reservation as soon as possible, which will probably be a few months from now. Red Ash is so popular that it is that difficult to get a table. But the wait is certainly worth it. This evening we tried the Octopus a la Plancha at our server, Emma's suggestion. Octopus for our first time. It was wonderfully delicious and tender. For dinner we split Frutti di Mare, a wonderful selection of seafood laid on a bed of the best black and white sphagettini. Cooked perfectly! Emma was the perfect hostess and we were able to reconnect with Brand Favata, our favorite server from six years ago. It seems that very few few employees leave Red Ash. It is such a wonderful restaurant!! We'll be back very soon.
