Scalini Fedeli was opened by chef-owner Michael Cetrulo in 1995 and very quickly became New Jersey's highest rated Italian restaurant. As always the food wine and ambience was excellent. Salvatore ensures that you are treated well. This night however due to a waiter that was fairly new to the establishment, things did not go as smoothly as in the past. Our service was inconsistent, varying between very good and needing improvement. He did try however. I do believe that once he has been there for a longer period of time he will fit right in.

Hosted a party of 6 on a busy night at holiday time. Hunter was our server and was simply outstanding, a total pro. Had varied entrees from steak to chicken to fish, all were exceptional. Table was a bit cramped but that's to be expected this time of year. A terrific surprise, had not been before. Already planning our return.
