Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Manitou Springs

My husband and I came for a birthday lunch and got a a window side table, which was perfect as the weather was fantastic. The food is always excellent, and they are able to accommodate all of my food, allergies and requests for additional changes that we had for our meal. This is our most favorite restaurant in the spring for special events and looking forward to our next lunch !

Had a wonderful lunch date with my two friends. We did not feel rushed, the food was great, and we had made reservations for noon, the restaurant was not at all busy until around 1:30pm. It was a holiday, President's Day, but they still let us order off the lunch menu.

A gem in Old Colorado City! Authentic Italian Cuisine done right! We enjoyed the ambiance and the service was amazing. We will definitely be back!

Every Valentine’s Day we treat ourselves and have been to many Valentine’s Day special menus at various 5 star restaurants. I randomly stumbled across the Cliff House and decided to book. Everything from the ambience to the staff to the pianist was impressive. The historic building was beautiful, the food excellent and our steaks were just right. I recommend it for sure! We will be back!

Perfect Valentines date and we are looking forward to coming back so we can try more! The interior is so unique with many little sitting nooks and feels like you’re on a cozy European patio. They make a delicious Lemon Drop and he enjoyed the New York Sour. The White Wine Brie Fondue was lovely, especially with the ASTOUNDING Olive Bread. I will come back for this alone! There was non-olive bread for the olive haters as well as broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, apples, and grapes. The fondue was switched out for a grill for the mains- he enjoyed the Surf & Turf, especially the turf, and my Vegetarian Entree included polenta, hearts of palm, baby corn, asparagus, mushrooms, peppers, squash, vegan andouille sausage, and more. The roasted baby potatoes and mini mozzarella fondue with each entree were also nice, and there were 6 dipping sauces to try. We got a Dark Chocolate Baileys Fondue to-go which came with cheesecake, brownie, pound cake, iced blueberry loaf, graham cracker, pretzel, pineapple, banana, strawberry, and apple. But the best part of the night was when our very attentive server came with a rose for me and the check for he. Thank you, Mona Lisa, we will be back!
