Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Richmond Heights

My wife, son and I had a great experience as usual at Cedar Creek. The food was delicious. The service by Dave was great. A great atmosphere. We will be back soon.

We really appreciate that the Standard is open on Thanksgiving. It's just me and my elderly mother who doesn't cook anymore, so it's nice to have a good place open on the holiday. Overall, the food was very good. We had: French onion soup, Romain "wedge" salad, braised lamb shank with risotto, white meat turkey special and an apple tart each. Mom said the soup was good - though not quite as good as the one she made herself for a Julie and Julia from the French Chef's cookbook some years ago. My salad was very nice. Mom's lamb was good, but a bit tepid and short on vegetables. My turkey and accoutrements were very good, well-seasoned, not dry, and hot. The only real disappointment was the dessert. The tart was flat with no discernable edge to the crust - which was underbaked. Our waiter said that it was the first attempt at this item and it could use a bit of polishing. Our server was very personable and engaging. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The noise level was moderate. Overall, a great experience. Thanks Standard!

Today was the second year our family celebrated Thanksgiving at Capital Grille. The Thanksgiving menu and our server, Phil were outstanding. Phil has been our server in the past, so we were delighted when he came to our table. Capital Grille continues to be our favorite Cleveland restaurant!

Decided to grab a few friends and give this a shot for the first time in years. Forgot how fun it is. Three bottles of reasonably priced wine for three couples. Server was outstanding and really guided us thru the process without trying to upsell. Can’t wait to come again
