Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Union Beach

Very nice place, good food and drinks recommendations, very friendly and knowledgeable waitress Tara. Management staff was very attentive. We love the restaurant and we will definitely come back.

Nobu offers delicious food, exceptional service, and the best lychee martini. However, the reception staff’s aloof and unwelcoming demeanor often leaves much to be desired. One can’t help but wonder who they think they are, given their role—likely earning a modest wage—yet carrying an air of superiority.

The River Cafe is probably the most beautiful and maybe the best restaurant in NYC. The views are stunning and the service without comparison. We had the vegetarian menu which was varied and delicious . There were a number complimentary “ gifts” from the chef in addition to the amuse bouche . The bread was excellent, beet salad was prepared table side , I had the truffle risotto and my companion the simple pasta dish which was also delicious . We both had the signature dessert - the Brooklyn bridge . I can recommend this restaurant highly . It’s expensive but worth every cent.

We were looking for a great midway location and I was thrilled to find The GOAT! We could enjoy a fabulous meal and hear each other talk. 2 of our party are hearing challenged so this was very much appreciated. The bruschetta appetizer was perfect, house wine delicious and all our entree choices and dessert were fabulous.

Always a positive and delicious experience at Barrel and Roost. Lovely waitstaff and good food in an excellent atmosphere. Get there for the Christmas decor. It is beautiful and fun!
