Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Alamo

Went there with several friends for a New Years Catch-Up. Sat at high tops in bar area because it was quieter. Our server was great - our food was great, but then something odd happened. As soon as our dessert arrived, the server said she had to close out our bill (not sure why). We paid and that was the last we saw of her or anyone. No refills on drinks, no clearing of table - nothing. We finally had to go get a busser to clear our table. We were there for 1 1/2 hours - and it wasn’t overly crowded - so I don’t know why the service abruptly stopped.

We sat at the bar and had a fabulous meal with excellent drinks.

Always an outstanding meal at La Sen - in my mind the best food in Walnut Creek The French onion soup is just the way you imagine it should be - golden melted cheese on top of the soup bowl with rich beef broth and caramelized onions. The crab cakes are also delicious - fried to perfection and lots of crab lumps The salmon is cooked perfectly- a beautiful sear and cooked to medium rare in the middle The rack of lamb includes 4 generous racks and were cooked to a perfect medium rare with a delicious sauce. Side vegetables are also delicious and cooked perfectly Crème brûlée comes with a crispy sugar glaze Highly recommend

If you have time to enjoy an amazing brunch by chef Nora then you will be pleasantly surprised. The food is delicious, prepared to perfection, and equally visually appealing. I have filled her for years and the food she parpares never disappoints.

Our first time with this restaurant. Service and food was amazing! We enjoyed and we are going back again. I recommend this restaurant to try it. You can’t go wrong.
