Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Columbus Circle

I was so excited to have a chance to dine at Emilys while I was in NY. I got the burger because Dax Shepard talks about it so often on the Armchair Expert podcast and it did not disappoint!! It was so delicious and the waffle fries were also crispy and seasoned perfectly! I’m already looking forward to my next visit so I can have it again.

Early dinner before a show. Service was quick and efficient. Food delicious. Pear salad and Brussels sprouts as apps. Both tasty and well cooked. Two different pastas that we both enjoyed. Second time here. Would definitely recommend.

We were seated quickly upstairs for our 4:45 reservation. Drinks came quickly and ordered spring rolls as appetizer which also came quickly and were very delicious came with sour cream avocado and salsa. Everyone tried and enjoyed. I got the short rib burger special with fries and was very good. Wife got chicken pot pie decent portion size and she enjoyed. Son got American burger (bun was thin and did not hold the toppings - fell apart) but was very good. His GF got chicken fingers again good she wanted sweet potato fries but not offered as a sub. Not sure why restaurants just don’t add with a charge but wasn’t a big deal. Service was great and place was very busy. I would definitely go back and recommend. We were off to Wicked for 6:30 and had more than enough time.

Mole is the sort of place you seek out in Mexico: Small, run by people who love it, based on traditional family recipes and ways. And it is aptly named. Mole is the acid test for a Mexican restaurant because it is hard to get right and when it is, it's fantastic. So was the mole at Mole, a sauce apparently prepared in Mexico and flown in. Not the spiciest I've ever had, but complex in the way mole should be. Don't miss it.

The food was fantastic and the service was above and beyond. I will be putting this on my list of restaurants to visit every time I am in NY
