Best Vegan Restaurants in Steppingley

This is the fourth Lussmans restaurant we’ve visited and the newest. The team were excellent - engaging without being obtrusive and helpful over with the menu. The restaurant is cosy and looks great. The menu is simple but really tasty. We will be back!

I came to Mildred’s Covent Garden on the 14th Dec to celebrate my birthday (22nd) with my friend - it was her first ever visit, even though I’ve been dozens of times! I know I can always count on great service and delicious food at any branch of Mildred’s and today was no exception; my friend who is usually a fussy eater said how much she enjoyed it and we had a wonderful time. It was super busy because it’s nearly Christmas, but the team did a great job of keeping on top of everything and still delivering the fantastic Mildred’s service I’ve come to expect. There was a table besides us who complained and treated the staff unkindly but Kate and Iza did a wonderful job of keeping level heads and offering this customer lots of solutions to their concerns. When they realised it was a birthday meal for me, I was brought dessert with a candle in it - free of charge. I can’t praise this team highly enough and I’ll definitely visit again (next weekend in fact lol)

Mildred's has been my favourite restaurant for a few years now. The most amazing and versatile menu there is something for everyone. Fabulous flavours, friendly service and a lovely restaurant. The Patatas Bravas and kimchi bokkeumbap are my favourite things on the menu. So much flavour and texture in every bite! I brought my Mum with me for her birthday, I had been telling her how much I love Mildreds for sometime now. She was delighted with the whole experience. We arrived early on a busy night and was offered a seat round the corner whilst we waited for our table to become available. I explained how we were celebrating Mums Bday and we were then BOTH given a glass of bubbly from the host. I didn’t get their name but they were just brilliant at their job! Our server Anil was informative of the menu and so kind. We quickly had to rush off at the end to get a train and they were fabulous at getting our bill quickly for us. Despite the restaurant being packed, with people on all floors of the restaurant, all of the staff were welcoming, said hello and goodbye and served with a smile. Thank you as always! Lunch for three ! Great choice menu ! Selection of starters which were very tasty Two of had Shepherd”s Pie which was very good and my Chicken Biryani was excellent ! All the dishes were perfectly prepared and all the individual spices and seasoning could be appreciated ! All in all with a couple of bottles of reasonably priced wine a very good value for money lunch ! Best curry I’ve had for along time !!
