Wow , wow wow Probably the best dining experience I’ve had , superb service and hosting we we’re really looked after what a team you have , food was amazing setting was beautiful and they went way above and beyond with how they looked after us . Customer service and food excellent. Atmosphere relaxed and informal, staff know their stuff, work very hard to keep everyone happy. Menu choices good, portions just right. Really impressed. Will definitely return.

Second visit. First time having 6 courses (Sunday lunch service). All round excellent. The small kitchen is busy, industrious yet calm, efficient and creative. Front of house - Kate and Grace on this particular occasion - friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and super efficient. It’s pointless recounting what we had, because everything changes all the time. Just go with an open mind and prepare to enjoy everything that’s put in front of you. One piece of advice: always have the bread and, if you can and do drink, always have the exquisitely curated drinks pairing, the “flight”. This is Exeter’s (St. Leonard’s) genuine little gem. Long May it go from strength to strength. Sustainable, local, innovative, deliciously delightful.

Delicious food, warm and cosy environment. Overlooking the fountain on the lake. Sri Lankan monkfish curry was light and delicious. The biggest portion of the most amazing chunky chips was devoured by my son. Very courteous and polite service, nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend.
