Open Tuesday to Sunday with food served all day from noon.We now have 3 Giant heated Tipis, they provide lots of fresh air and a lovely open environment, they are also heated.Formerly an 18th Century farmhouse boasting exposed beams, oak floors, exposed brickwork and oak tables. This leads to a very relaxed and cosy atmosphere with candle lit tables and real flame stoves.The cuisine is typically modern European, classically cooked using cornerstones such as stock pots to create their sauces with a brigade that has a passion for what they do.     We have been to The Poet a few times now and on every occasion we have enjoyed it immensely. Tom and the team take great care to ensure that all our food requirements are met and they go above and beyond with attention to detail. The atmosphere is always convivial and the food is outstanding. There's a very nice wine list too.

    Our Christmas dinner at Essence was perfect in every way. The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly served. The staff were very warm and friendly. All the thoughtful little extras were much appreciated. Everything was memorable and special and we may make this a family Christmas tradition!

    We had a lovely lunch here- their service was particularly stand out as the manager and our waiter were both very helpful and attentive. The food was very good, as we would expect from a Cote!

    We had a fabulous lunch at Casa Vecchia. Lydia, Carlos and the rest of the team were all, as always, super friendly and super efficient, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very festive. I can't fault our visit. We had a baby with us and we were given the ideal table, with room for the buggy and all the paraphernalia. It was a meal to remember for all the right reasons and we definitely look forward to visiting Casa Vecchia again soon. Thank you everyone for making our visit so enjoyable! Lis Key

    Myself and 3 friends have a very enjoyable evening on Saturday. The reason I chose The Brasserie was that it had both vegetarian and gluten free options which we needed. Unfortunately there were no gluten free buns available for the burger and also no gluten free brownie. We all felt this was very disappointing and my friend who suffers from coeliac disease only had the starter she wanted available to her. It definitely was not gluten free friendly on Saturday night
