- JJudyWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoAfter hearing such positive feedback about Afghan Bistro I decided to try it . I made a reservation to ensure I would get seating for3 people . I found the atmosphere to be quite pleasing , quiet , peaceful & understated . It is in an area where there is a heavy industrial vibe , do not let that deterr you from going inside , once inside , you`ll find this location is not a big space . Personally , I like a smaller, less noisy , envirnoment when dining out , so I can carry on a conversation without screaming across the table . The food server greeted us when we arrived ,then escorted us to our seats . He was very hospitiable & very knowledgeable about the selections on the menu . He asked if we had any special requests or if we needed any special care in food prep ( gluten or lactose allergies , if anyone was vegan or vegetarian etc ) . He made some suggestions on the menu that proved to be beneficial.. The food came out quickly after ordering it and it was delicious . This is defintely not your typical Kabob place , the selections on the menu are much more unique , not only did it taste amazing ,the presentation was beautiful . The portions are enough to share if one wanted to , but we opted for separate entrees so we could take have the leftovers . Overall I was impressed with the quality , the service, the prices were reasonable and the " vibe " of the place was great ...you can even get a glass of wine or a cocktail if desired . Great little place ! this location is 1 of 4 locations , I`d like to try them all it was so good .More infoAfghan BistroPrice: Moderate• Afghan• Springfield•4.9
- KkristenLos Angeles •15 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a GREAT time at Equinox. This is a very special restaurant. The entire menu is fabulous. I love their ability to cover both delicious omnivore and exquisite plant based options. All food is impeccable. There is something for everyone - and I’ve noticed people of all ages and much diversity. The staff is warm and inviting and the atmosphere is “elevated cozy”. LOVE this place. congrats on the one year in the new space. Support this DC treasure!More infoEquinox - DCPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.5

- WWilliamWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoThroughout the meal, the staff was attentive without being intrusive. When our server picked up that one of party was celebrating a birthday, he provided a special desert for her without our asking.
