Best Vegan Restaurants in Marlboro

Phenomenal place! I’m not a huge steakhouse person (I feel like home cooked is yummiest) but my boyfriend is so I booked this restaurant for our anniversary since I saw the Italian and Asian influence. As soon as we walked in we loved the ambiance, the flowers and trees gave it an intimate romantic feel. The staff was very attentive and polite and knowledgeable. We had John as our waiter and he was quick and seemed like he liked working there. The food was AMAZING! To give background, we love gourmet/specialty food and don’t mind spending for our bellies. We got the caviar and oyster appetizer, the crunchy rice, wagyu, caviar appetizer special, ricotta gnocchi, bone in cowboy ribeye, olive oil cake, fig cake and butterscotch crème brûlée. But before our orders the assorted bread basket was to die for as well and the butter! I have nothing bad to say about any of the dishes! Every ingredient was thoughtfully added and I didn’t feel like anything was fluff. We are for sure coming back and I recommend this place to everyone

The River Cafe is my favorite restaurant in New York, and probably anywhere else too! The beautiful romantic atmosphere, amazing views, warm yet attentive service and truly exquisite food make for a perfect experience. It is a special occasion place, not for everyday, but we have celebrated our anniversary there several times (when in the city - we do not live in NYC), and this time it was our 50th. They did not disappoint! I hope I get to go back for many more special occasions. We took our adult son with us and he loved it as well.

WOW!! I am soooo happy I picked this place to celebrate my 32nd wedding anniversary. I've been here a few times and loved it, but today, I was blown away by the food and service. Short rib ravioli is a must as an app. Pistachio martini was superb and by far the best drink. We had the pleasure of having Marc ( with a C) as our server and would love to have him every time. He was friendly, informative, and spot on with his recommendations. He made our night. Best server ever. EVER!! It says something when you not only loved the dining experience but the server was the BEST EVER. Wife had the branzino, and she loved it. I had the halibut w jasmine rice and green beans. I literally wanted to thank everyone involved for this dish. Totally loved it and will have it again TOMORROW. it's that good. Thank you 618 for making our 32nd wedding anniversary a memorable one. Food was great...service was fast and efficient...and the prices are vary fair. Probably the only thing I would improve is the salsa...it should be homemade...
