- EEllenGreater Boston •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoLove this place. It’s a vibe and the food is full of flavor and spice. Lots of options for choosing what hits the spot. Dumplings in delicious sauce. Spicy schezuan chicken in lettuce wraps. Great wine menu. World cusisine and gorgeous light. Even little stubby holders for your shopping not to be in the way. Thoughtful design and great service. A good chef designed the open kitchen which sizzles and smells fabulous. Half the fun is watching all the orders fly out.More infoJOEY AventuraPrice: Expensive• American• North Miami Beach•4.5
- AAlexVIPNew York City •22 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAbsolutely loved Makoto. It was our first time since they moved their location up to Level 3 of the Bal Harbour Shops. Super lovely, energetic, and the interior was gorgeous. We started off with the crispy brussels sprouts, which were so delicious that we put in another order. The truffle salmon was one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten — it melted in my mouth and they did not skimp on the truffle. The dynamite hand rolls were out of this world, warm and flavorful. The spicy tuna crispy rice had the perfect crunch. Side note: if you like sweet cocktails, get the usagi — the passionfruit notes shined through in this dessert of a drink. The chilled house sake we got was also divine. The rolls were fresh — we ordered the caterpillar roll, the spicy yellowtail roll, rainbow roll, and snow crab maki. My favorites were the snow crab maki and the rainbow roll. We ordered miso seabass and wagyu fried rice for the mains — the miso seabass melted in my mouth, and I loved the mix of citrus and sweet flavors that came through in this dish. When we got to the wagyu fried rice, I was already stuffed, but it was delicious with the egg mixed in. We finished the meal off with the toban yaki, one of the most unique desserts I’ve ever had. It was a cross between a crumble and a sorbet dessert — the flavors were incredible. The service was amazing and we loved our server Helena. 10/10 experience at Makoto and can’t wait to come back!More infoMakoto - Bal HarbourPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Bal Harbour•4.8

- JJevonVIPMiami - Dade •17 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024Let's just go ahead and title this as my favorite spot in Miami to go get a bite to eat. This time, I decided to come visit on my birthday with my wife! Hands down, I have to let you know how the bartender set us up just right with the perfect pre-birthday turn up Lemon Drops to start off the evening. The experience was nothing less of EXCEPTIONAL! The service, the attention to detail, the attentiveness to the customers, all 5 Star Ratings! Keep up the great work, Blue Collar! This is definitely one of the very few establishments that I frequently visit and always leave with positive results! 💯More infoBlue CollarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• MiMo / Upper East Side•4.7
- DDunstonopinesLos Angeles •4 reviews5.0Dined on Mar 14, 2024Most of the staff is just lovely, the champagne opening at 6 PM is fun although we wish she had used a microphone so we could've heard every word. Bar is comfortable, not many vegan options sadly, we had to get the sushi roll every time we were there if we were hungry. Bartender Sergei is knowledgeable and knows how to make a good cocktail and modify .More infoSt. Regis BarPrice: Expensive• Asian• Bal Harbour•4.5
