Located in the Heart of Sonoma Valley, Loxton Cellars is a working winery surrounded by 5 acres of estate vineyard. It is the intent of owner/winemaker, Chris Loxton, to produce handcrafted wines, made without compromise, that show balance and a sense of place. Wine tastings (no food) are currently offered by reservation and take place outdoors allowing guests to enjoy a lineup of handcrafted wines while taking in breathtaking views of the Mayacamas mountain range. Tastings are $20/person, include a flight of 5 wines and offer a casual and educational experience. In the event of rain we do have you covered, but it can be a bit chilly this time of year so we suggest bringing layers. While we do not sell or serve food, you are welcome to bring snacks or lunch to enjoy in the picnic area.     Food was wonderful as was the staff. We celebrated our 30th anniversary and we were met by a hand written card and hand made wine stopper. I had the bolognese "dirty" and practically licked the plate clean. The asparagus cream soup and au gratin potatoes were also excellent. I also live their ethos and that they pay their staff a living wage with benefits. Just all around lovely.

    Came here for our last night in Napa for my birthday and Bottega did not disappoint. This restaurant was highly recommended to me by multiple people who had visited Napa prior. Our server was attentive, the food was delicious, and I appreciated that the staff took notice that it was my birthday and went above and beyond for me. We can't stop raving about our experience! Definitely a must-try if you're in the Napa area.
