The view was spectacular, the chowder one of the best from the Monterey Bay area and the sirloin, pork chop and ravioli all cooked to perfection. All other local restaurants we’ve been to charge extra for bread, but this one was complimentary and delicious. Our server was attentive and friendly. The ambiance and service are both great, we never feel rushed. Monterey had just experienced a huge rainstorm and power outage (although Fisherman's Wharf seems to have gotten its power back sooner than the neighboring area). The servers and staff were unbothered and waitstaff was prompt, cordial, and friendly. Plus the food was great! you can't go wrong with seafood in Monterey.
