So you ask why Wanda Byob? Wanda Pollyana Boos/Lipot was my Mother and my inspiration to become a Chef. Wanda was an amazing cook who actually had some serious training in her country of Trinidad and Tobago. In fact, one of my most prized mementos is my mother's... her cooking manual from Naparima Girls High School in Trinidad. What started as my mother's inspiration many years ago has turned into a career that I love and am very proud of. So here I am, my mother's son, who has spent 38 years in the kitchen, perfecting my craft. I now want to share what I've learned with all of you in a place I can call my own.With the help of my wonderfully supportive wife, Gilda and my wonderful family behind me, I look forward to what's to come.     As always the Sugar Factory never disappoints. This new restaurant was a little tight but still had a great time. We got there early (5pm) so that we could do some shopping in the stores near by, the food and drinks was great

    8 of us went to Capitol Grille for Katie's Bday. The Hostess was so pleasant & immediately ask if she could take the birthday cake off my hands. She cheerfully said, “don’t worry we will take it from here.” Our waiter Bill could not have made us feel more welcomed! Everything kept on getting better from there, especially the food, WOW!! When we were all done with our main courses, the table was cleared, and the birthday cake reappeared. What a great birthday party the Capitol Grille through for Katie. Thanks
